BRIDGEPORT — Bronx-based Kiumarz Geula has added another notable downtown property to his real estate portfolio.

"It's the only Banksy here in Connecticut. ... It is going to be, if not already, a destination spot for art enthusiasts all over the place."

The Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School, a charter high school in the Bronx, offers basketball, but wants its students to succeed off the court.

Geula wants to renovate the existing structure, which dates back to 1958, for 77 artists lofts and two restaurants.

The AT&T building located at 430 John Street will be reconstructed into mixed-use development including mixed-income housing and the city’s first rooftop restaurant.
